The weather may be cooling, and the days may be getting shorter, but Bike Share Toronto is still outside, serving you all season long. Now get in your biking, with a cooler breeze to cool the sweat!

September was the highest ridership month in the history of the program – where did two wheels take you? 🎉

We can’t wait to commute the city via bike with you and hear about all the new adventures you’re about to go on this fall. Wherever two wheels takes you, remember to tag your adventure with #BikeShareTO.

Our First Stacked Station is Here!

What’s that you ask? A stacked station is a way to maximize space for high traffic stations, so the location can offer more docking points with 2 staggered rows of docks. Where can you find this stacked station? At the King St W / Bay St superstation.

Heres how it works:
Simply unlock a bike from row one first (green). A bike won’t release from row 2 until row 1 is empty.
Dock the bike in row 2 (black) where a dock is available until row 2 is full.

Halloween Bikes are Here! 🎃

It’s officially spooky season and there are Halloween bikes cruising in the fleet! Be on the look out for these fun, festive bikes and if you’re lucky enough to ride one, tag us on social @BikeShareTO and #BikeShareTO!

Log in to the NEW Members Portal 🤳

It’s never been so easy and fast to get riding with us. In September, Bike Share launched a new mobile website where anyone can purchase short-term passes, memberships and unlock bikes using your smartphone directly from  tor-stage.shoogademo.com.

The new members portal has all your account needs, accessible from your user dashboard upon login. Unlock bikes (yup! another way to grab a bike quickly!), manage your subscription, see trips taken, update information and request or activate a key card.

Demo Day Recap 🏙

Who joined us on September 29th for Demo Day event at our Queen St W / Bay St (City Hall) station? We were on site, excited to greet Bike Share lovers and help new riders, employees of our Corporate Membership Program partners, and students learn the system and test e-bikes.

September Station Updates

INSTALLED

Yonge St / MacPherson Ave station.

REMOVED

Adelaide St W / Bay St station (Superstation) has been removed due to watermain work along Adelaide St W. Docking paves from this station have been relocated to our King St W / Bay St (superstation).to make our first ever stacked station!

RELOCATED

Parliament St / Aberdeen Ave station has been relocated to the northwest corner of Parliament St / Wellesley St E due to roadwork on Parliament St.

St. Joseph St / Bay St – SMART station has been relocated to the southwest corner across from Clover Hill Park due to roadway work.

REINSTALLATIONS

Davenport Rd / Bedford Rd station has been reinstalled back to its original location following the completion of cycling infrastructure.

RIDER TIP OF THE MONTH

Looking to renew your membership? As a member, you are automatically registered for auto-renew when you sign up for an Annual Membership. The card on file will be billed the day before your membership expires, so there is no stoppage in service. For members who turned off auto-renew in their accounts, log into your account and click “Renew” under Current Membership Plan.
